Update 4/24

The Team is greatly appreciative that Tommy, and Mr. and Mrs. Kirchhoff attended Monday’s home game against Johns Hopkins. They must have been a talisman as the Bullets knocked off the #2 ranked Blue Jays for the second time in a week, 7-1.  The win streak now stands at 10 after beating McDaniel College 3-1 at Kirchhoff Field yesterday. The Bullets record to 11-4 in conference play with three games remaining.

The Team has also began ‘going yard’ itself as Juniors Alex Posch, Tommy Lenior, and Ben Roessle have all connected for home runs (two for Lenoir) in the past two weeks.

As a reminder, the Bullets matchup on Saturday at Kirchhoff Field against Haverford will not only be “Senior Recognition Day” but it will also be “ALS Awareness Day,” as the team welcomes the Kirchhoff family and Project ALS to the ballpark in between games of the doubleheader.

If you cannot make it to this game, but feel inclined to support the cause, you can donate via PayPal below. Keep the Kirchhoff family in your heart and Go Bullets during this weekend’s playoff push.

Nate and the Streaking Bullets baseball team,

Mrs. Straub and I can’t make it to Senior and Take ALS Yard Day this weekend because of a prior family commitment, but want to wish you guys the best the rest of the way…….This is turning into a very special season. I haven’t had this much fun since Chase played! On top of that we appreciate what you and the Team are doing for ALS Research. To help with the fundraising we are going to donate $10 for every Bullet Baseball victory starting with the McDaniel game on Friday thru the end of the season, whenever/wherever that takes us!! We will write a check to ALS Research after the last game and also get it matched by my wife’s employer. Chase had high hopes for this season and after a bump in the road,( ie-PSU Berkleigh, F&M and Swarthmore), those hopes are turning into reality.

Thanks and Good Luck the rest of the journey!!

    Chip and Nancy Straub
