Still Taking ALS Yard

Despite the inactivity on this website, Gettysburg College baseball has continued its effort to help fund research efforts to find a cure for ALS. Through the 2014 season, and the subsequent ‘ALS Ice Bucket Challenge’ summer, the team was able to raise just under $10,000, which raises its total fundraising total to the $25,000 neighborhood since the start of 2012. Wow! Thanks to everyone who has supported this great cause!

Former ‘chairman’ of this fundraiser 3b Nate Simon has unfortunately left us due to graduation. He will be missed. But Senior 1b/ss/2b/Pinch hitter extraordinaire Cory Karajozi (http://www.gettysburgsports.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5196&path=baseball kids a stud) has committed himself to grabbing the reins and bringing the fundraiser to new levels. Please stay posted on fundraising efforts for the Spring season, when the Bullets will strive to defend their Centennial Conference Regular Season Crown, and attempt to break a school record for wins for the third straight year. Happy Holidays and see you soon!
