‘Take ALS Yard’ Day set for 4/27

The Gettysburg College Baseball team is proud to announce that this year’s “Take ALS Yard Day” will take place on Friday, April 27th.  This special day has become a tradition in recent years, acting as a great way to raise awareness, show our support and  those directly involved in the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

The team will be honored to host members from Project ALS, the Kirchoff Family and Borman Family as the Bullets square off against McDaniel in the last regular season home game of the year. The game time is set for 3:30pm and it is expected to be a beautiful spring day here at Kirchoff Field. We can only hope that it will be warmer by then!

Before the start of the game, those in attendance will be able to learn more about Take ALS Yard and Project ALS from those who are directly involved in the initiatives. Having Project ALS representatives here on campus is always a unique and inspiring opportunity for us. In having such a close relationship with the ALS Warriors, the Project ALS representatives often provide very heartfelt moments on this day. In addition, you will be able to hear firsthand how Gettysburg College Baseball’s philanthropic efforts will go to supporting those combatting ALS.

So come out to Kirchoff field on April 27th to experience a truly unforgettable day with the team. Having the support of our tremendous fans for what we do off the field makes the day that much more meaningful! As always there will be shirts and hats available for purchase next to the home dugout and donations can be made At This Site.

The team is looking forward to seeing you in attendance as we show our support to Project ALS and demonstrate how we Take ALS Yard!
