2022-2023 Season Wrap-Up

Dear Bullets Friends and Families,

We are thrilled to announce that we surprised our season goal of $10,000, putting the total amount raised since the start of the campaign at over $140,000! We would like to thank all of the alumni, family, and friends of the program that have assisted us in the fundraising efforts this season, none of this would have been possible without them. We also want to thank all of those who participated in the 3-on-3 basketball tournament, purchased our 2023 hats and t-shirts, and directly donated to our fundraiser. We also want to extend a huge thank you to Project ALS for all of their support this season, in addition to their support over the past 11 years.

2023 Take ALS Yard Day on April 16th

Although we did not finish the season with the record we had hoped for, we still achieved a lot on and off the field this past year. On Sunday, April 16th, we hosted our annual Take ALS Yard day during our doubleheader versus Swarthmore College. It was a great day filled with lots of fun and we want to thank all those who attended, especially the Kirchhoff family and Coach Campo for their amazing and touching speeches.

Thank you to our 2023 seniors for all their help over the past four years. We also want to thank the rest of our teammates and coaching staff for all their efforts during this season’s campaign. We truly would have never been able to accomplish all this without them and are greatly appreciative of all their hard work and dedication towards Take ALS Yard!

Pregame Warmups on Take ALS Yard Day

We look forward to the continuation of Take ALS Yard, which honors Tommy Kirchhoff and Robert Boreman. It has been an honor to lead this season’s efforts and we could not have done it without your support. We would like to extend one final thank you to our teammates, coaches, friends, family, and alumni.

Go Bullets,

Preston Toothman & Andrew Weinbrum
